Like Tsukiumi, Kazehana addresses herself as Minato's 'wife'.
Despite Minato's lack of 'manliness', his concern and love for his Sekirei caused Kazehana to develop feelings for him and she eventually became his Sekirei.
She questioned herself however if Minato would be able to convince her to become his Sekirei and decided to put him up to the test. Due to this, Kazehana stated that she didn't had any interest in things such as the Sekirei Plan because she didn't expect to like and accept an Ashikabi other than Minaka. She seems to show hatred towards Takami Sahashi as she could be the person that Minaka Hiroto loved. She's also confident in her natural sex appeal and not afraid to speak her mind as she openly admitted in front of the others that she loved MBI Director Minaka Hiroto, however she was rejected after the confession as he loved someone else. Takami had dived to the ground on instinct, having dealt with a few wind based Sekirei in her time doing adjustments, and got a six sense on what attack would be unleashed just before it happened. Normally, Kazehana displays a very relaxed personality and often becomes giddy when discussing matters of love. She later addresses herself as Minato's "new wife". The ship opens due to the fact that Minaka and Takami have the qualities to become an Ashikabi. 1999, 21 years before the start of the series, Minaka and Takami discovered a huge ship on a deserted island which suddenly appeared in an area in the seas of Japan. Because of Minato's possible resemblance to his father, she begins to develop feelings towards him and eventually becomes his Sekirei. Minaka and Takami investigate a crashed Sekirei spaceship in 1999. So now when he arrives in the capital, he does so with a lot more of him than in the original series. This means that he got as much as he wanted, especially at meal time. 'Maybe fate has a different plan for him.' Takami looked at him. She is also the adjuster of Homura (together with Takehito), Musubi, Shiina and Kusano, possibly out of shame as she frequently expresses doubt and disgust at Hiroto for what he is doing. Whenever she is angry or making jokes, she makes a demonic facial visage, a trait that is shared with Yukari. She later reveals that she lied about working at a pharmaceutical company to Minato after the escape plan when she takes him in temporary custody. Before the beginning of the series, Takami, along with Hiroto, discovers the Sekirei ship and later gives birth to Minato out of wedlock with Minaka due to her refusal to allow Minaka to be part of their family. Takami Sahashi (佐橋 高美, Sahashi Takami?) is the mother of Minato and Yukari, MBI's head researcher, and the person in charge of the Sekirei Plan. Produced by Aniplex and Seven Arcs and directed by Keiz Kusakawa, the story revolves around a college.
